From the date of foundation the Akaltara Education Trust has always been recognized as a well managed institution in the field of services of people of area not only in field of education but in other fields also.

The institution has worked in the field of cultural development, providing health facilities and development of awareness in different fields in collebration with other societies like Manav Kalyan Samiti, Red Cross Soceity , Dr Indrajeet Singh Smriti Nyas, Utkarsh etc.

No of times the students of the schools managed by the trust have came forward for collection of fund for donation to the Prime Minister and Chief Minister Relief Fund for help of the people suffering from natural calamity.

Recognizing all these activities the Trust was awarded with the prestigious AKHIL BHARTIYA MAHARAJA AGRASEN SAMMAN 2007 by the Govt of Chhatisgarh the memento along with a cash prise of Rs 2,00,000/ only was given to the trust on 5^th Nov 2007.

In Raipur the prise was collected by the president of the trust Shri Dhirendra Kumar Singh with honorable Shri L.K.Advani the leader of opposition in Lok Sabha.

At the district level also the prise for outstanding services of the trust was given to the trust which was collected by the secretary of trust Shri Ishwar Khandeliya in the program organized at Janjgir from Smt.Karuna Shukla M P Janjgir loksabha.
